Painkiller – Cocktail of the Month

While on a recent trip to the British Virgin islands, we had a few (too many??) rum and coconut cocktails that were so smooth and delicious, that we knew we needed to bring these back to the states for the BUCKFISH crew to enjoy.  And enjoy they did. So, if anchoring in White Bay and wading up to The Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke isn’t something you have planned to do anytime soon, we present to you…the Painkiller.

Painkiller Drink Recipe

  • 2-4 oz. of Pusser’s Rum
  • 4 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1 oz. cream of coconut
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • Grated fresh nutmeg

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut and orange juice and shake. Pour into cocktail glasses over ice and top with grated nutmeg.
